Project Coordinator - Flooring Industry (Gold Coast)

**About the Role**

We are excited to offer a full time position for an experienced **Project Coordinator** at **Floorin**, a company with over 6 years of expertise in floor preparation, supply, and installation. This role is a blend of project administration and hands-on work, with some of your time dedicated to supporting on-site flooring installation. You will be responsible for coordinating multiple projects, managing timelines, and ensuring the highest standard of workmanship. This position also involves working closely with clients, contractors, and internal teams to deliver successful flooring projects from start to finish.

**What You’ll Be Doing**

In this role, you’ll:

- Develop, review, and negotiate project variations, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned with changes in scope or schedule.
- Respond to inquiries and resolve any problems related to project progress, ensuring client and team satisfaction.
- Manage project paperwork, including contracts, schedules, timesheets, reports and general company documentation, ensuring is accuracy and up to date.
- Collaborate with business owners, suppliers and clients to ensure project goals are met on time and within budget.
- Advise business owners on key issues requiring their attention and implement decisions promptly.
- Oversee contractor performance and report on variations to work orders, ensuring high-quality outcomes.
- Prepare and review reports detailing project status and overall progress.
- Collect and analyse project data, providing insights into the success of each project.

**What We’re Looking For**

We are seeking someone who:

- Has a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a project coordination role.
- Holds a qualification in project management or has prior work experience in a similar role.
- Is highly organised, able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
- Enjoys administrative work.
- Possesses excellent problem-solving skills, able to resolve project challenges efficiently.
- Is an effective communicator, able to work closely with clients, contractors, and other team members.
- Is capable of handling pressure while consistently delivering high-quality work.
- Has a valid driver’s license and is comfortable traveling to various job sites.
- Is proficient in English both written and verbal.
- Is proficient in using Microsoft Office.

- $87,000.00 per year
