Architect / Architectural Draftsperson (Gold Coast)

About the role

jared poole design, a dynamic architectural firm located on the Gold Coast, Queensland, is seeking a talented Architect or Architectural Designer / Draftsperson to join our growing team. This full-time role will involve working closely with our architects and designers to bring our clients' visions to life through innovative design solutions. Candidates must have current Australian work rights. What you'll be doing
- Collaborate with the design team to develop conceptual drawings through to detailed construction plans for predominately commercial, and mixed-use projects throughout Australia.
- Assist with the preparation of local council applications and liaise with local authorities throughout the approval process.
- Provide technical support and respond to queries from clients, contractors, and other stakeholders
- Stay abreast of the latest trends, building regulations and design software. What we're looking for
- Tertiary qualification in Architecture or a related field
- Proven experience in residential, commercial, or mixed-use architectural design, preferably within a similar size practice
- Minimum 3-4 years of experience in architectural design is required.
- Solid proficiency in CAD software, such as ArchiCAD or Revit, and the ability to produce high-quality, detailed drawings
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
- Passion for architectural design and a commitment to creating innovative, functional, and visually appealing spaces
- Familiarity with local building codes, regulations, and design standards What we offer
