Intermediate Accountant Hospitality & Strata – Chartered Accountants Gold Coast, QLD Hospitality & Strata, a well-established Chartered Accountancy practice based on the Gold Coast, is currently seeking an Intermediate Accountant to join our growing team. About Us We are a boutique accounting firm offering a friendly, professional and personalised approach to both staff and clients. Our firm and its predecessors have proudly operated on the Gold Coast for over 30 years. We specialise in the management rights and strata sector, providing accounting, audit and taxation services to a broad client base. The Role This full-time position is ideal for someone with 2–5 years’ experience working within an Australian public practice accounting firm who is looking to further develop their professional career. The successful applicant will be motivated, eager to learn, and possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, together with the ability to work effectively within a team environment. The role will involve a diverse mix of accounting and taxation work, including:
· Preparation of income tax returns and financial statements
· Preparation of Business Activity Statements (BAS)
· Bookkeeping services for clients
· Assisting with client queries and Australian Taxation Office matters About You To be successful in this role, you will have:
· 2–5 years’ experience in Australian public practice accounting
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
· A positive attitude and willingness to learn
· Experience with Xero software (preferred) Our practice utilises:
