Divisional Procurement Advisor (Gold Coast)

The Role

An opportunity has become available for a Divisional Procurement Advisor to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 12 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.

You will

Provide influential procurement and commercial advice to executive and senior management Support the Divisional Procurement and Category Manager to develop annual divisional procurement plans Support divisional stakeholders to manage supplier contractual performance, including providing high quality procurement and commercial advice Develop clear project plans for key initiatives, manage, review and report on project performance, identifying key risks

About you

To be successful in this position you will require: While not mandatory, a relevant academic qualification and/or membership of a processional procurement body would be highly regarded While not mandatory, experience in both private sector and government procurement would be highly regarded Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

Salary

Temporary full time (12 months with the possibility of extension) Base salary ranging from $121 360
- $129 998 per annum
