We are seeking an experienced Account Manager with expertise in commercial insurance and a proven record of handling commercial accounts. In this role, you will drive business, uphold client satisfaction, and play a pivotal role in our firm’s achievements.
Key Responsibilities: Manage a portfolio of SME accounts, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and retention. Identify and pursue recent business opportunities. Perform risk assessments and develop tailored insurance programs to meet client needs. Negotiate terms and pricing with underwriters to secure optimal coverage for clients. Present insurance proposals and renewals to clients in a explicit and concise manner. Collaborate effectively with internal teams to deliver seamless client service. Stay abreast of industry trends and regulatory developments to provide informed guidance to clients. Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records.
Qualifications: Teir 1 & 2 qualifications at a minimum. Diploma or degree preferred.
3+ years of demonstrated success in commercial insurance broking. Strong proficiency in commercial insurance products and industry practices. Proven track record in client relationship management and business development. Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software. SCTP, Sunrise and SCTP experience preferred.
