Perhaps you will become the next person to join our growing team of professionals? About the role We have an opportunity for a full time Medical Receptionist to join our Team. This position will work between our two clinics – both located in Southport – working Monday to Friday on a rotational roster (shifts between 7.30am to 6.30pm, total 7.6 hours per day). Responsibilities

- Making our patients feel welcome
- Managing our very busy phone system and responding to patient and Grace Private team enquiries in a skilled and timely manner
- Managing Doctor and Medical Provider schedules
- Scheduling patient appointments, which will also include booking theatres and theatre teams at times
- Patient Record Management: triaging patient referrals, data entry, collating and updating patient files/medical records
- Supporting with patient and HiCaps billing and reporting
- Daily banking and reconciliation
- Opening and closing of clinic About you 2+ years working in a high volume and paced reception / administration role Ability to work autonomously while managing the phones and administrative duties with high attention to detail Exceptional communication skills which can be adapted to engage with many different levels of stakeholder Proficient in computer and online systems/databases Have compassion and empathy in difficult circumstances Solid organisational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment A positive and team orientated work ethic Desirable experiences (not essential)

- Medical administration / reception experience
- Experience with Genie
- Knowledge of medical terminology
