Drainer / Pipelayer Gold Coast

Sniffers Group is expanding our team and looking for an experienced Drainer / Pipelayer to join our civil construction crew. If you take pride in quality and workmanship and enjoy working outdoors in a solid team, this role is for you. Responsibilities

- Install, maintain and design below-ground drainage systems, including sewers, drainage and/or stormwater.
- Study drawings and specifications to determine layout of plumbing systems and materials required.
- Install sewerage and effluent pumping equipment and disposal systems.
- Install below-ground drainage systems, including pipes, fittings and fixtures.
- Test, maintain and repair drainage systems to ensure proper functioning, and transparent blockages if required.
- Conduct inspections and maintenance of sewerage or effluent disposal systems.
- Set out trenches and prepare bedding.
- Operate hand tools and small plant.
- Work alongside excavator operators and civil crews. Qualifications

- Experience as a Drainer in sewage, stormwater and effluent systems.
- Follow Work, Health and Safety procedures and maintain a secure site.
- Ability to read levels and follow plans.
- Solid understanding of trench safety.
