Our state government partner is looking for a agile Communications Advisor (AO5) to help shape how major infrastructure projects are understood, supported and celebrated across Queensland.

- Driving communication and engagement strategies that bring complex projects to life
- Partnering with project teams, senior leaders and community groups
- Leading media, community engagement and project communication activities
- Crafting compelling content — media releases, briefings, newsletters, speeches and more
- Providing strategic advice on stakeholder issues, risks and opportunities
- Coordinating community engagement events that build genuine relationships
- Supporting media management, issues response and crisis communication What You Bring
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience delivering communication strategies in complex or high‑profile environments
- A proactive, organised approach with the ability to juggle competing priorities
- Confidence working with diverse stakeholders — from community groups to senior executives Requirements
- Class C Driver Licence + own vehicle
- White Card (or ability to obtain within six months)
- Ability to complete employment screening
- Ability to provide PPE for site visits Highly regarded
- Qualifications in communications, PR or marketing
- Experience in infrastructure, construction or major project settings
- Issues management experience and IAP2 training
