Housekeeper / Cleaner (Gold Coast)

Job Description Avani Broadbeach Residences is expanding its housekeeping department and is seeking dedicated, detail‐oriented part‐time Housekeeping Assistants to maintain high standards of guest rooms. Responsibilities Thoroughly clean guest rooms, including making beds, vacuuming floors, and cleaning bathrooms to ensure a pristine environment. Complete cleaning tasks efficiently within the hours allocated by the company. Collaborate with team members to meet daily cleaning targets and operational goals. Adhere to safety protocols and environmental standards. Use specialised cleaning equipment and products safely and effectively, with all training and tools provided. Build strong, professional relationships with team members, guests, and contractors to foster a positive, respectful work environment. Qualifications Prior experience in housekeeping or cleaning roles is highly regarded. Solid attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards. Basic understanding of safe handling and usage of cleaning chemicals and equipment (training will be provided). Good physical fitness and stamina, able to perform repetitive tasks such as bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods. Professional and clear communication skills for interacting with guests, team members, and contractors. Strong time‐management skills and ability to prioritise tasks efficiently. Positive, proactive attitude and strong work ethic. Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays. Legal working rights within Australia or Recent Zealand. Shift Details Rotating roster from Monday to Sunday. Shifts start between 8:00am and 9:00am.
