Principal Civil Engineer, Gold Coast

Principal Civil Engineer– 12‑month Contract (Nerang) Our client urgently requires a Principal Civil Engineer for a 12 months + Contract in Nerang. The role will manage the delivery of key components of the road infrastructure program and provide specialist technical expertise and advice to infrastructure projects andto other professional and technical staff to ensure successful delivery of the program within time, quality, cost, and stakeholder expectations.

Responsibilities

Project manage the design and/or construction of projects in a wide variety of environments, including urban and multi‑lane high‑speed roads.

Project manage a variety of projects through their lifecycle to ensure delivery is achieved within scope, on time and to budget.

Provide agreed customer service by attending to all public enquiries (which requires technical input) through appropriate channels and in a timely manner.

Promote and contribute to a safe, healthy and sustainable workforce and provide leadership in safety on projects, and coordinate project requirements with Road Operations teams to ensure efficient network operations.

Preferred Experience Government experience would be highly advantageous.
