CIVIL ENGINEER
- WALKABOUT CIVIL Walkabout Civil is seeking a motivated and experienced Civil Engineer to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a agile and progressive company delivering high-quality civil construction and infrastructure projects across Queensland and NT. The successful candidates will possess the following:
- Strong fault-finding skills
- Road works experience
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- MC or HR license a bonus
- Capable of working remotely and willing to stay in road camps as required
- Additional skills, experience, tickets, and licences will be highly regarded Your duties will include:
- Demonstrated experience in road construction, maintenance, and civil infrastructure projects.
- Proven ability to work effectively alongside roadworks and civil construction crews.
- Strong leadership skills with the capability to supervise, coordinate, and motivate field teams.
- Experience preparing project quotations, cost estimates, and work scopes.
- Willingness and ability to travel and work across Queensland and the Northern Territory as required.
- Experience in tender preparation, pricing, and submission processes is highly desirable. What we can offer:
