Are you a solutions-focused Senior Electrical Project Engineer looking for your next challenge? We’re seeking a capable and innovative Senior Electrical Project Engineer to join our high performing team. You’ll play a key role in delivering fit-for-purpose critical infrastructure, supporting resilient communities and thriving industries.
What You'll Be Doing
Ensure all WHS, environmental, and quality management plans are developed, maintained, and complied with across the project lifecycle
Manage all project financials including forecasts, subcontractor claims, client invoicing, and margin improvement from tendered to finished gross margin
Lead contract and project delivery including program review, construction methodologies, subcontractor performance, and commercial discussions such as variations and EOTs
Manage client relationships through regular reporting, dispute resolution, and fostering a culture of respect and collaboration
Act as, or support Design Manager to oversee design strategy, subcontracts, and designer deliverables in line with budgets, specifications, and constructability
Support commissioning readiness, QA close-out, ITPs, test records, defects, MDR/handover documentation and project completion requirement.
Manage and support project financials including cost forecasting, subcontractor claims, client claims, purchase orders, cost reports, end-of-month reporting and margin improvement
What You'll Bring
Electrical project management processes and principles
HV and LV electrical systems, switchboards, VSDs, MCCs, generators, controls, instrumentation and pumping infrastructure.
WHS, environmental, and quality management systems
Contract administration, financial management, and subcontractor management
Design management within construction or infrastructure environments
Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical) or equivalent
8+ years of experience in electrical project engineering or a related discipline
