RCT has an excellent opportunity for a agile person to join our Finance and Administration team in the role of Accounts Payable Officer, based in Kewdale.

The Role

As an Accounts Payable Officer you will have a solid understanding of the end to end accounts payable function and provide accurate and timely administrative services. Your key responsibilities include, but will not be limited to:

Be the owner of the “AP Supplier Invoice” workflow ensuring that invoices are processed though the workflow in a timely manner

Follow up outstanding invoices linked to purchases orders

Ensuring the efficient and accurate processing of invoice and expense claims

Completing supplier and credit card reconciliations

Staff reimbursements including Travel Claims

Ensure that periodical payments are processed

Preparing payment runs for approval

Maintain supplier EFT details ensuring that any changes are notified in writing from the supplier

Qualifications and Experience

Minimum 4 years’ experience in a similar role

Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Robust organisational and time management skills

Exposure to large ERP systems is essential (Pronto will be highly regarded)

Understanding of foreign currency transactions and banking will be highly regarded

A proactive approach with the capacity to problem solve with highly developed analytical skills
