Description
About the Role As a Sales Coordinator, you will play a key role in our Sales Team, managing day-to-day coordination, including customer order communications, enquiry handling, order processing, invoicing, and CRM updates for accurate forecasting and reporting to cross-functional and senior leadership teams. For the right candidate, this role offers a clear pathway to grow into an Account Manager position, with support to take on strategic account coordination and business development responsibilities. Reporting to our experienced VP of Business Development & Sales, you will be in a full-time role with versatile working hours based at our office in Bentley. Your day-to-day will revolve around the following:
- Customer & Sales Support
- Be the first point of contact for customer queries, process orders and invoices, and keep accounts healthy and up-to-date.
- CRM & Data Management
- Keep our CRM systems clean and current, track opportunities, and support marketing with targeted campaign data.
- General Admin & Process Improvement
- Handle phone enquiries, support internal teams, and help streamline processes with smart documentation and coordination.
- Account Management Assistance
- Support client meetings, track follow-ups, and help schedule regular check-ins to keep relationships strong.
- Reporting & Insights
- Prepare weekly and monthly dashboards, respond to internal reporting needs, and spot opportunities for improvement.
- Customer Onboarding
- Help new clients get set up smoothly — from account creation to introductions and feedback follow-ups.
- Market Research
- Dive into market trends and share insights that help shape our strategy. About You Here are some of the things we think will make you likely to succeed in this role:
- Minimum 2 years in a Sales Support or Account Management role
- Proficiency in Salesforce CRM (Desirable)
- Technologically confident, with an understanding of computers and a comfort level working around hardware and software, especially in a tech or manufacturing environment
- Eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in CRM management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams
- Strong time management and organisation skills
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Good customer service skills
- Team player with initiative and a process improvement mindset
- Strong problem-solving skills We’d love to see that you have hands-on industry experience working in a similar role. However, a lack of this is not a deal-breaker if you have a keen-to-learn and right attitude. And we’re sorry, but you do need to have rights to work in Australia. If you are feeling unsure about any of the details, please don’t hesitate to email us at . Here are 4 reasons why we think you will love working with us:
- Culture of friendliness and inclusivity: We truly care about our people and our work, embracing the diversity of our workforce and ensuring everyone has a sense of belonging.
- Flexibility of your working hours: Tell us what working hours would best suit you, and we will work our hardest to accommodate what you need.
- Receive recognition for your wins: Our favourite pastime is to celebrate the success of our employees and recognise their contribution to our company. We want you to take pride in your accomplishments, and if you’re doing a fabulous job, we want to make sure you know!
- Chances for growth and progression: As Motium continues to grow in every facet, you will grow with us. There will be plenty of ways for you to achieve your career goals and targets, whether that be in this role or another department. Hear that? That’s the sound of opportunity calling your name. Here are 3 reasons we are afraid you might not want to join us:
- We operate in a high-feedback environment. You will be required to challenge, be challenged and face challenges.
- Motium is growing. As such, not all our policies and procedures are shiny and well-polished. If you find it difficult to work without 100% of the processes outlined, this role might not be for you, as you will be tasked with assisting in the creation of this documentation.
- Variety is the spice of life! You will need to wear different sales hats in this role, working across the full spectrum of sales tasks. If you prefer focusing on one or two smaller aspects of sales, we might not be your best fit. Share: Apply on Kit Job: kitjobau.com/job/3qk88a
