Equipment Placement is an established and growing Australian supplier operating within the industrial and commercial market.
**About the Role** This is a hunter-focused, field-based sales role responsible for identifying, developing, and converting new business opportunities. You’ll work closely with senior leadership and branch teams to grow market share, recover at-risk business, and respond strategically to competitive pressures. The role suits a commercially astute sales professional who thrives on opportunity creation, understands pricing and margin, and can influence outcomes in competitive, price-sensitive markets. Happy to consider applicants from other industries, product training will be provided.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Proactively identify and secure new business opportunities within industrial and commercial markets
- Drive demand through targeted prospecting, networking, and market engagement within Tier-1 environments
- Build and strengthen relationships with contractors, consultants, distributors, and end users
- Identify trailing or at-risk business and develop recovery strategies
- Analyse customer spend, pipelines, and buying patterns to uncover growth opportunities
- Monitor competitor activity and provide market intelligence to leadership
- Develop and execute territory plans aligned with business strategy
- Maintain accurate CRM records, forecasting, and reporting
**The Role**
- $100,000 + Super
- Monday
- Friday, Perth based

**About You**
- Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
- You know how to look outside the square and identify sales opportunities.
- Proven experience in a hunter-style sales role, ideally within mining, industrial, commercial, construction, or related sectors
- Strong commercial acumen with an understanding of pricing, margin, and deal evaluation
- Confident prospecting, negotiation, and closing skills
- Strong communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to analyse data and translate insight into action
- Current driver’s licence and ability to travel on occasion within Australia
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $85,000.00
- $112,000.00 per year
