Maintenance Coordinator (Bentley)

There is a reason we are one of WA’s leading not-for-profit aged care providers since 1961! **Description**: **ABOUT THE ROLE**: As the Maintenance Coordinator, you will lead our group of Maintenance Officers to provide quality services to our valued residents living independently in our Bentley Village and to staff in our Residential Facilities. A key part of this role is to champion continuous improvement and ensure compliance with relevant legislation; and support the ongoing development of the Maintenance team. **Responsibilities include**:

- Lead and manage the Maintenance team including their performance and development.
- Look for efficiencies and ways to improve maintenance services.
- Oversee and triage work requests.
- Conduct regular audits and reporting on routine maintenance and servicing required under legislation.
- Coordinates emergency / after hours maintenance requirements.

**Skills and Experiences**: **KEY ROLE REQUIREMENTS**:

- Demonstrated experience in a similar role leading a team (essential).
- Experience implementing and driving change (essential).
- Trade qualification (highly desirable).
- High level of leadership, problem solving skills and eye for detail.
- Confident in the use of various software packages and mobile devices.
- High level of communication skills both written and verbal.
- National Police Clearance.
- Current Influenza Statement and Covid 19 Vaccinations (highly desirable).
