Whs Advisor (Kewdale)

**Goldstar Transport are seeking an experienced Work Health and Safety Advisor to join our growing transport business and paly a key role in supporting safe, compliant and efficient operations across multiple sites.**

**This is a hands-on role that will see you regularly travelling offsite to conduct audits, inspections and safety reviews while working closely with operational leaders, drivers, workshop teams and management.**

**About the role**

Reporting to the HSEQ General Manager, you will be responsible for:

- Conducting site inspections, risk assessments and WHS audits across depots and customer locations.
- Supporting operational teams with practical safety advice and continuous improvement initiatives
- Investigating incidents and near misses and implementing corrective actions
- Assisting with development, review and implementation of WHS policies, procedures and systems
- Helping deliver toolbox talks and safety training
- Monitoring compliance with legislation, codes of practice and company standards
- Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders

**About you**:

- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a WHS advisory role
- Tertiary qualifications in WHS, OHS or a related discipline
- Robust knowledge of Australian WHS legislation and compliance requirements
- Experience working within transport and logistics (highly desirable)
- Confidence engaging with Frontline operational staff in fast-paced environments
- A proactive, practical and solutions focused approach
- Ability to travel regularly to operational sites
- Strong communication and reporting skills
- Current Driver’s license
