Description
Our client, a prominent Educational Facility located SOR, is seeking a full time Administrative Officer for a 6 month temporary assignment to commence mid June 2026. The essentials for the role will suit a person with a creative flair for creating and managing social media! Duties will include
- Managing LinkedIn and Social Media
- Maintaining efficient administrative processes and practices within the office, including office supplies and stationery orders
- First point of contact for general enquires, correspondence and reception of visitors
- Providing confidential secretarial support including reports, agenda papers and minutes
- Coordination of arrangements for meetings
- Diary management
- Coordination of the content, publishing and distribution of reports
- Providing event coordination and operation support, including organising venues and catering
- Liaising with the Travel Team to arrange and coordinate travel arrangements for staff and visitors
- Coordinating the distribution of correspondence in a professional and timely manner Essential Criteria
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate the administrative requirements of a functional area, within a very busy, quick paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Advanced computer skills including Microsoft applications
- Experience managing LinkedIn content and creating new posts
- Understanding of branding and governance requirements
- Experience in CANVA will be advantageous, but not essential
- Excellent attention of detail
- Demonstrated problem solving skills
- The ability to maintain confidentiality and integrity
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and effectively as part of a small team
