This is a great opportunity for someone who takes pride in accurate, consistent work and thrives in a supportive, team-oriented environment. About Filters Plus: Filters Plus is a proudly Western Australian owned company that has been at the forefront of the filtration industry for over 25 years. Based in Kewdale, the company sources and distributes quality filters and products to the agricultural, mining, oil & gas, aviation, industrial, and marine sectors. The company’s vision is to become the number one filtration service provider in the West Australian market, and its mission is built around helping customers achieve their maintenance goals through quality products and excellence in service. Filters Plus is a values-driven business where safety, respect, integrity, professional behaviour and accountability, and innovation are more than words on a wall – they’re the foundation of how the team works together every day. This is a workplace that takes pride in doing things properly, treating people well, and delivering for its customers. About the role: This is a full-time, 13-month fixed term contract providing accounts and general administrative support to the management team. Reporting to the Office Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of the company’s accounting function while supporting the broader administration team during peak periods. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Data entry of daily bank and cash/EFTPOS transactions
- Daily and weekly bank reconciliations, credit card, petty cash, and cash float reconciliations
- Responding to customer account enquiries, including providing copies of invoices, statements, and proofs of delivery
- Processing customer account applications and trade reference requests
- Accurate and prompt allocation of customer remittances, and timely follow-up on discrepancies
- Assisting with debtor management, including contacting customers regarding unallocated credits or unpaid invoices
- Issuing end-of-month statements to customers
- Weekly banking of cash and reconciliation to account
- Uploading customer invoices to supplier platforms such as Coupa and Ariba
- Providing receptionist and data entry support to other business areas during peak periods
- Assisting with filing, archiving, and other administrative duties as required Beyond your core accounts work, you’ll play an important part in keeping the administration function running smoothly – supporting colleagues, maintaining accurate records to meet legal and accounting standards, and ensuring customers always receive prompt, helpful service. This is a role for someone who is steady and methodical in their approach, who values accuracy over speed, and who genuinely enjoys being part of a team that supports one another. About you: You’re a patient, conscientious accounts professional who finds genuine satisfaction in producing accurate, high-quality work. You’re the kind of person who takes care with every transaction, every reconciliation, and every customer interaction – because you understand that getting the details right matters. You’re cooperative and approachable – a natural team player who is happy to help colleagues and pitch in wherever needed. You don’t wait to be asked; you see what needs to be done and you do it. At the same time, you’re comfortable working steadily through your own tasks with minimal supervision, keeping to established processes and producing consistent results. You’re someone who values stability and takes the time to learn things thoroughly. You’re not looking for constant change – you perform at your best when you have clear expectations, familiar systems, and a supportive team around you. When changes do arise, you adapt well with the right guidance and time to get up to speed. In your interactions with customers and colleagues, you’re respectful, professional, and genuinely helpful. You listen well, communicate clearly, and approach every enquiry with a customer-service mindset. Key Traits for Success in This Role: Accurate and Detail-Oriented – You take pride in getting the details right and consistently produce work to a high standard of accuracy Patient and Consistent – You work at a steady, reliable pace and are comfortable with routine, repetitive tasks without losing focus Cooperative and Team-Oriented – You’re a willing team player who supports colleagues and contributes positively to the workplace Customer-Focused and Professional – You handle customer enquiries with courtesy, responsiveness, and a genuine desire to help. What you bring to the role:

- A strong customer service focus, with the communication skills to handle enquiries professionally and promptly
- A steady, reliable work ethic and comfort with established routines and processes
- The willingness to support other areas of the business during busy periods
- Sound organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities at month-end and other peak times
- A positive, respectful attitude that aligns with the Filters Plus values of integrity, respect, accountability, and professional behaviour What we can provide: Filters Plus offers a welcoming, stable working environment where people are valued and supported. You’ll be joining a friendly administration team in a well-established company with a strong reputation in the WA market.
