Aluminium Window Fabricator (Berwick)

Bekkers Windows and Doors is a leading manufacturer of high-end, custom aluminium windows and doors. Due to increasing demand, we are looking for additional people to become part of our production team at our Pakenham factory. Experience with AWS aluminium windows and doors is preferred, but aluminium window experience is essential. You will be part of the production team for the manufacture and assembly of aluminium windows and door frames, including fitting glass panels, and will be using machinery and hand tools to process the frames. You will also complete other tasks as required from time to time within the production environment and attend customer sites from time to time (as required) to complete maintenance calls. The ideal candidate will have :
- Fabrication experience within the residential sector
- Capable and safe operation of the required tools and equipment
- Be able to read and understand fabrication reports
- Glazing experience beneficial
- White card
- Full and current driver's licence
- Ability to work safely, accurately and follow procedures Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 7am – 3.30 pm, with a monthly RDO. The position is permanent full time, paying above award wages + super (negotiable with the right person), with some overtime during peak periods, and annual shut down period.
