**Here's what you will be spending your days doing**:

- Managing end-to-end recruitment, including advertising roles, interviewing, and selecting staff.
- Maintaining personnel records and ensuring the HR system is accurate and efficient.
- Advising management on workplace relations, staff performance, and disciplinary matters.
- Coordinating staff induction and ensuring employees understand their conditions of service, salaries, and growth opportunities.
- Negotiating employment terms, resolving workplace concerns, and supporting conflict resolution efforts.
- Studying and interpreting workplace legislation, awards, and employment contracts to ensure compliance.
- Developing and implementing HR policies, employee engagement strategies, and productivity-based procedures.
- Overseeing workplace consultative committees and promoting employee participation initiatives.
- Managing and responding to incidents, employee feedback, and complaints in a timely and effective manner.
- Ensuring compliance with NDIS standards, workplace regulations, and internal policies.
- Conducting NDIS Safeguarding and Commission reporting to maintain high service and compliance standards.
- Designing and delivering in-house company training, onboarding sessions, and upskilling opportunities.
- Supporting a culture of learning and development by facilitating professional growth programs.
- Ensuring employees and participants are getting the most out of our organisation by responding to day-to-day queries and solving problems as they arise.
- Liaising with stakeholders to ensure seamless and supportive service delivery.
- Using our custom-designed, user-friendly software system to capture all the important work you are doing.

**Preferably, the following factors resonate with your experience**:

- You hold a Master’s degree in Human Resources or a related formal qualification to NDIS/welfare sector.
- You have at least 2 years of professional experience in HR or a related sector.
- You have NDIS or disability sector experience, making you familiar with the unique challenges and requirements of the industry.
- You are excited by change and love making things better than how you found them.
- You have incredibly high standards and a strong attention to detail.
- You have a strategic mindset—you can see the bigger picture but are also ready to roll up your sleeves and get things done.
- You’re comfortable navigating uncertainty and adapting to change.
- You have a positive and creative perspective on life.
- You have strong digital skills and can use technology to solve problems and create solutions.
