Security Technician Electronic Equipment Trades Berwick

ET Electrical Group Pty Ltd., a Melbourne-based full-service electrical company, is seeking a qualified and dedicated full-time Security Technician to join its exceptional team.

We are a company that provides a comprehensive range of commercial, industrial & residential electrical services, from design and consulting to installations, testing, repair and maintenance. We have an experienced team of electricians, including an industrial electrician in Melbourne and electricians serving the eastern suburbs of Melbourne, who are fully equipped to handle any electrical project.

Key Duties:

Install, maintain, and troubleshoot security systems

Conduct regular maintenance checks on security equipment to ensure proper functioning

Monitor security systems for any suspicious activity and respond to alarms in a timely manner

Provide technical support to customers and assist with any security-related issues

Collaborating with other security professionals to enhance overall security measures.

Order and organize materials and equipment needed for the job.

Contact the customer to discuss the project details and confirm the appointment.

Book the appointment according to the customer's availability and schedule.

Plan and schedule the job by ensuring that all necessary resources are allocated, and timelines are established for completion

Skills:

Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skill

Robust troubleshooting skills and the ability to problem-solve under pressure

To be able to work within a team or autonomously.

Ability to prioritise and solid organisational skills.

Attention to detail

Qualifications & Experience:

At least AQF Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job training or higher

Proven experience in installing and maintaining security systems

Knowledge of different types of security equipment and their functions

A remuneration package between $70,000.00
- $100,000.00 per year plus superannuation will be negotiated depending on skills and experience.
