Position Details We’re looking for a detail-oriented Construction Administrator to join our Southport Head Office construction team. As a key member of our Head Office support team, you will play an essential role in assisting on site project teams with purchase orders, subcontractor paperwork & final certification
- taking care of the details to keep things running smoothly between Head Office & site from start to finish. This is a Full-Time permanent role (38 hours per week), working flexible hours between 7am to 5pm Monday to Friday & offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a passionate, professional, and community-focused organisation. Responsibilities
- Process purchase orders and variation requests accurately and within deadlines.
- Respond to order enquiries and provide administrative support.
- Support procurement activities and supplier set up & coordination.
- Maintain spreadsheets to track materials and site deliveries.
- Liaise with site teams to prioritise work and manage urgent requests.
- Preparation and ongoing management of subcontractors and supplier agreements & insurance.
- Coordinate weekly house releases.
- Update and distribute weekly project reports to stakeholders.
- Perform general filing & ensure final documentation is complete for records at both a Head Office & site level. - 2–3 years’ experience in a similar administration role, preferably in the construction or related industry.
- Demonstrated experience managing purchase orders & variations.
- Strong organisational and time management skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Strong computer literacy with proficiency across MS Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- A proactive, positive attitude and strong communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while supporting a collaborative team environment.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced construction workplace. You'll Stand Out If You Have:
- Experience in the residential building/construction industry
