Quality Control Officer (part-time) (Labrador)

The Quality Control Officer monitors raw materials, production processes, finished products, and sanitation practices to ensure compliance with food safety standards, company specifications, and regulatory requirements. The role helps maintain product quality, prevent contamination, and support continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities: *Inspect incoming raw materials and packaging materials (COA, label, damage, sampling). *Conduct in-process quality checks during production (weights, metal detector checks, sieve checks, batch sheets). *Finished goods release checks (labels, coding, pack integrity) *Verify product specifications, including appearance, weight, texture, pH, moisture, and other quality parameters. *Identify and report non-conforming products. *Ensure compliance with food safety systems such as HACCP, GMP and other Relevant local food regulations Must-have: *Food manufacturing experience (powders/blending/packing ideal) *Understanding of food safety and quality standards (GMP + HACCP) *Comfortable with documentation + batch records *Can sample safely, label retains, handle non-conformances Pay: $35.00 – $40.00 per hour Work Location: In person Apply on Kit Job: kitjobau.com/job/3rm8yi
