- Work in one of Tasmania’s most beautiful regions, just 30 minutes from Hobart The Role As the Recreation Centres Operations Coordinator, you will be responsible for the day-to-day coordination and operational oversight of Council’s recreation centres and aquatic facilities, including Port Huon Sports & Aquatic Centre, Huonville Swimming Pool, and Cygnet Sports Centre. You will:
- Lead, mentor, and support facility teams across all three sites
- Drive service quality, financial performance, and community engagement
- Build and maintain solid relationships with sporting clubs, schools, and the broader Huon Valley community
- Oversee operational compliance, maintenance planning, and project delivery What You will Bring: You will bring:
- Proven leadership experience in recreation or aquatic facility management
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- The ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic, community-focused environment
- Current Pool Lifeguard Accreditation, Working with Vulnerable People card, Level 2 First Aid Certificate, and a National Police Check (or the ability to obtain) What’s on offer
