Ventia's Electrician Apprentice (3rd or 4th year) reports directly to the NSW Field Manager. In this role, you will support the delivery of electrical construction projects, including new build installations, upgrades to existing infrastructure, maintenance activities, and fault response. You will work across a range of electrical equipment within telecommunications infrastructure projects throughout Australia. What are the advantages?

- Onsite construction projects within telecommunications environments, assisting and executing site works
- Supervised installation of LV, ELV, AC, DC electrical site works, along with cable trays and electrical apparatus
- Install & commissioning of DC power plant installations, battery lifecycle replacements, and critical superstructure/frame suite builds
- Perform testing and commissioning in accordance with Australian standards to ensure operational compliance
- Maintain safety and compliance through daily documentation, risk assessments, and adherence to critical risk protocols
- Support project delivery through reporting, client relationship management, team collaboration, attending RTO training, and frequent metro/regional travel About you:
- RTO training for licences including NSW Electrical Licence and Open Cabler Licence
- Experience in telecommunications environments (e.g. Telstra, Optus, TPG) and leading teams/projects
- Current NSW Drivers Licence
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills, with the ability to motivate teams and deliver results
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and capable of working autonomously as a proactive, self-driven professional
- Physically capable (lifting up to 25kg)
- Willing to travel regularly to regional areas (Monday–Friday) The following qualifications and experience are not essential but will be highly regarded in the selection process:
- Emergency First Aid / CPR
- Low voltage Release and Rescue
- Working at heights certification
- Elevated work platform licence
