Truck Driver (Arndell Park)

We at Blacktown Building Supplies provide Builders & DIYer's with all their Timber, Building Supplies & Hardware needs. We have a full time position available for an experienced truck driver. Role Summary: The Driver is responsible for the safe delivery of goods to the customer, between business units and pick ups from suppliers. The Driver is expected to demonstrate courtesy, positive customer service, safety and good driving skills in the loading, checking, securing, selecting the most cost effective route, unloading, receipting of goods, interaction with customers/suppliers/staff and general vehicle maintenance. The successful candidate must possess:
- a desire to give great service to our customers
- ability to load / unload trucks by hand & using the hiab
- the desire to work in the timber yard as required
- ability to control stock, customer orders & movement of stock within the yard as required
- the ability to work within a team
- a desire to uphold WHS policies and procedures
- attention to detail, punctuality & Initiative essential
- experience in truck driving around Sydney Skills/Knowledge/Experience required:
- Customer focused.
- Some knowledge of Timber would be an advantage.
- Ability to converse with a variety of different customers & staff.
- MR licence required as a minimum.
- Forklift license is desirable but not necessary. Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $56,000.00 per year Benefits:
