Technical Solution Engineer (Team Leader) (Arndell Park)

We are currently seeking an experienced Technical Solution Engineer (Team Leader) to join our Industrial Division in NSW. The role plays a key role in delivering engineering solutions and technical support for battery systems, UPS systems, and energy storage applications, while providing technical leadership and supporting the national technical team to maintain high engineering and service standards. Roles and Responsibilities:
- Providing technical engineering support for battery backup, energy storage, and industrial power systems.
- Designing and sizing battery systems based on customer and project requirements.
- Preparing and reviewing technical proposals, engineering documentation, and system specifications.
- Supporting the sales team with technical consultation, product selection, and pre-sales engineering advice.
- Conducting technical troubleshooting, fault diagnosis, and root cause analysis for battery and power systems.
- Managing complex warranty cases and coordinating technical resolutions with suppliers and customers.
- Providing on-site technical support and engineering guidance for key customers and projects.
- Liaising with international suppliers regarding technical matters, product improvements, and warranty support.
- Leading, mentoring, and coordinating the national technical service team to ensure high engineering and service standards.
- Developing and implementing technical procedures, service standards, and training programs for technicians.
- Monitoring engineering quality, safety compliance, and service performance across technical operations.
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service efficiency, technical capability, and customer satisfaction.
- Ensuring engineering and service activities comply with Australian Standards, electrical safety requirements, and WHS regulations. Required Qualification and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering (or equivalent)
- 5+ years' experience in battery / UPS / solar / power systems engineering
- Experience in technical troubleshooting and engineering support for complex electrical systems.
- Previous experience in a technical leadership or team coordination role will be highly regarded. Required Knowledge and Skills
- Knowledge of Australian electrical standards (AS/NZS)
- Customer-facing engineering and pre-sales technical experience
- Team leadership and engineering mentoring ability
- Strong communication skills (technical + commercial)
