Vehicle Compound Manager (Arndell Park)

We are now seeking a Vehicle Compound Manager to lead daily operations at our Arndell Park compound, ensuring vehicles are handled safely, efficiently and to the highest standards for OEM and dealer customers. What you’ll do l Lead and develop the compound team through clear direction, coaching, and training, building capability and supporting succession planning. l Manage end-to-end vehicle handling, from arrival and inspection through storage, processing and dispatch, ensuring strict quality controls, minimal damage and consistent first-time-right outcomes. l Promote a safety-first setting by enforcing WHS and compliance standards across all yard activities. l Use WMS effectively to maintain data integrity and ensure accurate inventory management in line with KPI targets. l Drive operational efficiency by optimising yard utilisation, reducing turnaround times and managing operating costs. l Build strong partnerships with OEMs, dealers, transport providers, and internal teams to ensure seamless coordination. l Contribute operational insights to support business development and customer growth initiatives. What you’ll bring l 3+ years’ leadership experience in automotive logistics, vehicle yard or compound management, or another high-volume operations environment. l Strong people leadership skills with proven ability to coach and motivate teams. l Knowledge of WHS, Chain of Responsibility, and operational safety requirements. l Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. l Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. l Experience with yard management or warehouse systems is highly regarded. l Degree in logistics, supply chain, or equivalent experience preferred. l Mandarin speaking is preferred but not essential.
