Accountant Salisbury

Rapidly growing manufacturing business seeking an experienced and motivated Accountant to join our team.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys variety, takes ownership of their work and can confidently manage day-to-day financial operations within a busy manufacturing environment. You will work closely with management and play an important role in supporting the financial performance and ongoing growth of the business.

Key Responsibilities Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable functions Preparing and processing invoices, payments and receipts Performing bank reconciliations and resolving discrepancies Maintaining and monitoring the general ledger and financial records Assisting in the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements Conducting financial analysis and preparing reports for management Preparation of monthly journals and management accounts Cash flow forecasting and budgeting support Assisting with manufacturing costing, inventory analysis and margin reporting Monitoring production-related costs and supporting stock control processes Payroll processing and related administration Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies Assisting with taxation obligations and lodgements Managing workflow priorities and meeting deadlines

About You

The successful applicant will have: A degree in Accounting, Business or Finance Approximately 8+ years accounting experience Strong technical accounting knowledge Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities High attention to detail and robust organisational skills Robust communication skills and a team-focused attitude Ability to work autonomously and take initiative Experience within manufacturing, industrial or inventory-based businesses highly regarded Exposure to manufacturing costing or inventory accounting preferred
