Based in Salisbury South, we specialise in the sale, service, and repair of industrial, commercial, and domestic pumping equipment across SA. The Opportunity

We're looking for a hands-on Pump Technician to join our Service & Repairs team. This role is starting part-time with a clear pathway to full-time as your training is completed and our workload grows — so it's a great entry point for the right person.

What You'll Be Doing
- Fault finding, servicing, and mechanical repair of a wide range of pump types
- On-site pump maintenance and diagnostics (including occasional regional travel as required)
- Workshop tasks including assembly, testing, and cleaning of pump components
- Completing job documentation — service reports, timesheets, and customer records
- Assisting with customer enquiries, phone support, and basic counter sales
- Liaising with the Service Manager and Director to prioritise and execute work efficiently
- Ensuring all work meets safety procedures, quality standards, and company policies

What We're Looking For
- Mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience in pump service, repair, or installation
- Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
- Competency with a range of hand and power tools
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, specs, and schematics
- Good time management with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Physically capable of manual handling and working in diverse environments
- Basic understanding of electrical components (motors, switches, cabling) — advantageous
- Familiarity with pressure systems, bore pumps, or water transfer equipment — preferred

Licences & Requirements

Essential:

- Current, valid Driver's Licence
- White Card (Construction Induction)
- Current Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain prior to commencement)
- Working with Vulnerable People Check (or willingness to obtain prior to commencement)

Desirable (not essential):

- Forklift Licence
- Confined Space Entry Certification
- Restricted Electrical Licence

What We Offer
- $25-$35 per hour depending on your qualifications and experience
- Part-time to start, with a genuine pathway to full-time as training is completed
- Company vehicle available for authorised site work
- Standard hours Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:00 PM
- Occasional weekend/after-hours work available and paid accordingly
