To support its expanding operations, NRG Venue Services Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled and experienced Accountant to manage financial records, reporting, compliance, and day-to-day accounting functions across its cleaning, venue support, and facility services operations. Salary: $75,000–$80,000 AUD Location: Bondi Beach NSW 2026 Key Responsibilities 1. Prepare, maintain, and reconcile financial records, journals, and general ledger entries. 2. Prepare accurate financial statements, management reports, and budget forecasts. 3. Monitor cash flow, expenses, and financial performance across all business operations. 4. Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely payments and collections. 5. Conduct regular bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial transactions. 6. Assist with BAS, GST, payroll, and other statutory compliance requirements in line with Australian legislation. 7. Support month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring compliance with accounting standards. 8. Maintain accounting systems, internal controls, and proper financial documentation. 9. Liaise with external accountants, auditors, and other professional service providers. 10. Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic business decision-making. Requirements 1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 2. Minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in a commercial accounting role. 3. Solid knowledge of Australian accounting standards, taxation, and compliance requirements. 4. Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, MYOB, or QuickBooks. 5.
