We’re looking for a **Learning and Development Business Partner** to lead the way in designing and delivering innovative training and development programs that align with our strategic goals and the 70:20:10 learning framework. Your role will involve collaborating with various departments to optimise organisational performance, ensuring memorable learning experiences.
In this dynamic role, you will:
- Drive performance and capability growth by partnering with stakeholders and championing People & Culture initiatives.
- Research, design, develop and implement engaging learning interventions that meet the needs of our workforce.
- Implement evaluation strategies to assess the effectiveness of learning interventions.
- Conduct training needs analysis to shape Council's Annual Training Plan and budget.
- Facilitate training sessions, workshops, and seminars, both in-person and online.
You’ll play a pivotal role in fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation while ensuring learning solutions align with Council’s strategic objectives.
**About You**
- **Hold tertiary qualifications in Organisational Development, current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or related field and or equivalent experience.
- Significant (5+ years) experience within an adult learning environment.
- Demonstrated experience in conducting a thorough skills gap analysis and competency assessments.
- Experience in managing a learning management system.
- Proficiency in instructional design and e-learning tools.
- Demonstrated ability and experience in facilitating training sessions, workshops and webinars using various methods to accommodate different learning styles.
- Ability to handle multiple projects, often with conflicting deadlines.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
