School Crossing Supervisor – Casual – Waverley Local Government Area Location: Bondi Junction, NSW, AU Employment type: Casual Salary: $33.83 per hour (plus superannuation) Role Overview You’ll become a Road Safety Hero, held in high esteem in our communities and vital to the safety of kids, parents, teachers, and local motorists. This position provides relief at sites in the Waverley Local Government Area. Responsibilities
- Provide safety support at school crossing sites during the school term, with shifts between 8:00 AM – 9:30 AM and 2:30 PM – 4:00 PM, minimum one‑hour shifts, Monday to Friday.
- Respond promptly to call‑outs and maintain a visible presence to keep children safe.
- Communicate effectively with students, staff, parents, and motorists, and remain alert to potential dangers.
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines, wearing the provided uniform and equipment. Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age at the time of appointment.
- Community minded and eager to contribute, reliable and able to show up in all weather conditions.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
- Willingness to obtain or hold a current Working with Children Check, reference checks, police check, and health assessment. Advantages
