Virgin Active Bondi Junction is your be-all workout retreat, right in the heart of the East. Spread over eight levels and covering 1,370 sqm, the club features purpose-built studios for Cycle, Boxing, Reformer Pilates, Yoga and Grid Training (HIIT), plus a strength, cardio and outdoor functional training zone. We've also catered for your post-workout-self, with luxury changeroom amenities including Dyson Supersonic hairdryers, ghd® straighteners and Apelles products. **The gig**: Reporting to the Club General Manager, you'll deliver both a preventative and reactive maintenance schedule safely, on time and within budget. You'll be the go-to handyperson for all things maintenance for our world class club facilities.
- In a nutshell: _
- You'll put together a planned preventative maintenance schedule for the building shell, fixtures, fittings and surrounding grounds
- You'll oversee the completion of minor repairs and reactive maintenance, ensuring all is tracked
- You'll manage contractors to ensure they achieve agreed outcomes and operate safely, providing a fully functional, compelling and protected environment for our members and team members
- You'll raise awareness about the club's carbon footprint and provide solutions to reduce utility consumption across electricity, gas, water and waste
- You'll ensure electrical compliance and regularly report maintenance updates via checklists along with capex projections

**All about you**:

- You're experienced in building maintenance (including HVAC) and have a qualification in a technical trade (electrician, mechanical fitter, boilermaker, air con or refrigeration mechanic experience highly advantageous)
- You're patient, level-headed and cool under pressure with knowledge of regulatory compliance across facilities
- You have good planning skills and are efficient at resolving issues with safety and budget in mind
- You take great pride in your property and naturally think about ways of improving its carbon footprint and reducing utility consumption. A+ for you.
