**Location: Sydney (Airport Vicinity)**

**Salary: $140K-$148K+ Bonus**

Join a highly successful Sydney hotel as a Financial Business and Support Manager, where you will play a critical operational finance role, working closely with the General Manager and Department Managers to drive financial success.

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Provide constant business and financial support to the General Manager and department heads.**:

- **Building a strong relationship with owning company.**:

- **Maintain and implement robust internal control systems for the hotel.**:

- **Ensure compliance with company financial policies, procedures, and reporting requirements.**:

- **Monitor and manage revenue, expenses, and working capital within the approved budget framework.**:

- **Engage in financial planning and analysis, including budget preparation, forecasting, and variance analysis.**:

- **Deliver Profit & Loss reports, maintain the General Ledger, and perform balance sheet reconciliations.**:

- **Oversee payroll controls, wage disbursements, and compliance with tax and employment legislation.**:

- **Develop and cross-train accounting staff to foster career growth.**

**What We’re Looking For**
- Proven experience in a similar financial leadership role.
- Knowledge of Opera PMS and/or Sun System is highly desirable.
- Strong ability to work under pressure, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Passion for numbers, reporting, and driving operational efficiency.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment.
