About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Grill Chef to join The Field at Easts Rugby in Rose Bay. This role is ideal for a motivated chef who thrives in a rapid-paced, events-driven environment and takes pride in delivering consistently high-quality food, particularly across the grill section.

Key Responsibilities Prepare and cook high-quality dishes with a strong focus on grill service Maintain consistency, presentation, and quality during à la carte service, events, and functions Assist with prep and service across the kitchen as required Ensure the grill section is clean, organised, and operating efficiently at all times Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to deliver smooth and timely service Follow all food safety, hygiene, and WHS standards Assist with stock rotation, portion control, and minimising waste Maintain composure and efficiency during high-volume service periods

Key Qualities We Are Looking For Genuine passion for food and hospitality Strong grill experience with excellent attention to detail and consistency Ability to work well within a team in a quick-paced workplace Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and improve Good time management and organisational skills Ability to perform under pressure, especially during busy events and functions

Experience & Skills Previous experience in a similar Chef or Grill Chef role Experience in high-volume kitchens or events environments Solid understanding of food safety and kitchen standards Relevant trade qualifications preferred but not essential

Pay: $32.00 – $48.00 per hour
