Cafe Manager Rose Bay

The Bagel Co is looking for an experienced Cafe Manager. This is a permanent full time position.

The Bagel Co offers a full café service for breakfast and lunch, with a focus on fresh, organic, quality ingredients and all-sustainable, eco-friendly products and materials.

As Cafe Manager, you will be in charge of overseeing all aspects of the day-to-day operation of the venue and leading and managing the front-of-house team. You will be required to ensure that the café experience offered to guests exceeds expectations at all times through the implementation of appropriate operating policies and superior customer service standards.

Some of the main responsibilities of the role will be:

Managing the day to day operations of the Café

Leading, managing & supervising the front-of-house team

Recruiting & hiring front-of-house staff, including wait staff and baristas

Staff training

Stock Control/Management

Order supplies, and coordinate with vendors.

Rostering/Scheduling

Assisting with menu items and cost-control

Budgeting and financial management

Implementing & enforcing procedures & systems to ensure the smooth running of the café

Ensuring the cleanliness of the venue & compliance with all WHS requirements & health regulations

Full time Salary $70,000
- $80,000

Requirements and Skills

At least 3 years of relevant work experience in hospitality/restaurant management

Qualifications or Training in Hospitality management (preferred)

Management experience in a similar-style venue

Excellent customer service skills

Leadership & management skills

POS system experience

All-rounder knowledge and experience (waiting, barista, cooking) & broad experience with food/beverage styles

Available to work during hour opening hours, weekends and public holidays

Fluent in English with excellent communication skills

Experience in training staff

Positive presentation

Financial management experience & business acumen

Must have working rights in Australia

Salary: $70,000.00
- $80,000.00 per year
