Kincoppal-Rose Bay School of the Sacred Heart, founded in 1882, is a leading Catholic Independent Day and Boarding School located in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs. The School is co-educational ELC-6, and girls only 7-12. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and passionate temporary Music Teacher to join our team from Term 3 2026. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire a love of music through primarily teaching in our Junior School. The ideal candidate:
- Tertiary qualified and accredited to teach in NSW. Training and experience in Primary Education, with specialist education and skills in Music.
- Prepared to support the ethos of a Sacred Heart education and be an active and visible participant in the dynamic life of our school.
- Strong understanding of your subject/s areas and are a lifelong learner.
- Commitment to plan and deliver each lesson to the best of your ability, ensuring that you are implementing effective teaching and learning strategies to keep each student engaged.
- Ability to create and maintain an effective learning environment, where you believe in the importance of and are committed to facilitating both the personal and academic growth of our students.
- Demonstrated ability to differentiate assessment practices, use data, and provide constructive feedback, so that all students have individualised learning experiences, challenges, and growth.
