Pre construction manager (Mascot)

Strong base salary + uncapped commission + senior role with real influence Sydney Piling is growing quickly, and we are looking for a high-level Pre-Construction Manager to help lead the front end of the business. This is a senior role for someone who is commercially sharp, highly driven, confident with clients, builders, and engineers, and strong at managing the process from first enquiry through to quote acceptance. - Quality work across Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs The role You will play a major role in how we assess, price, present, negotiate, and win projects. You will be involved from the first phone call through to quote acceptance. Your responsibilities will include
- speaking with clients and builders early
- helping guide clients through the process
- attending site visits
- assessing opportunities and helping shape the right approach
- working with the estimating team to build quotes
- presenting proposals clearly and professionally
- following up and negotiating to help win work
- assisting with contracts and commercial discussions
- helping decide which jobs we should go after, and which jobs we should leave alone What we are looking for You must:
- be an excellent communicator
- be confident in meetings and client-facing situations
- be highly driven
- be commercially sharp
- be organised and proactive
- understand how piling jobs are put together, priced, and won
- be comfortable dealing with clients, builders, engineers, consultants, and internal teams You do not need to have held this exact title before. This role could suit someone from:
