**The role**

We're looking for a motivated Kitchen Assistant to join our central kitchen (which produces ingredients for our restaurants) and to support our kitchen teams.

**Skills and experience**

You’ll have:

- Experience working in industrial and/or restaurant kitchens
- Knife skills and experience
- A passion for food and kitchen operations
- Ability to lead, motivate, and build an effective team in a fast-paced environment
- Strong leadership ability, approachability, and a reputation as a role model
- Characteristics reflective of FISHBOWL’s ethos: self-motivated, positivity, service-oriented, flexible, and ethical with a high degree of integrity.

**Your tasks**

You will:

- Supervise ingredient preparation in the kitchen
- Use our state of the art processing machines
- Maintain adequate inventory levels and conduct regular inventory counts
- Ensure critical standards of product quality, daily food safety and sanitation
- Role model and reinforce FISHBOWL’s people and culture standards

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $32.06
- $34.00 per hour

**Experience**:
