About Us Rosebery Laundry is part of ENSIGN SERVICES, Australia’s largest provider of Managed Laundry and Textile solutions. We proudly provide customised Laundry and Textile solutions including linen and work-wear supply, laundry solutions and management to the Retail, Corporate, Industrial, education and Health Sectors. About the Role As a Maintenance Fitter, your primary responsibility will be to support the Maintenance Manager in achieving optimal machine uptime and service quality. You will ensure that all maintenance activities within the Linen Services operation are executed efficiently, meeting both budget constraints and regulatory standards. Your work will involve maintaining a variety of industrial equipment, including washing machines, dryers, conveyors, and more. You will be expected to assess and implement safe work practices, collaborate with your team, and provide valuable input to enhance operational outcomes. Who We’re Looking For We seek a dedicated professional with a strong background in mechanical maintenance and a commitment to safety and efficiency.
- Trade Qualification – Mechanical License is essential.
- Minimum 5 years of mechanical experience in a Manufacturing or Industrial environment.
- Sound mechanical and industrial fault-finding skills.
- Experience reading and interpreting technical drawings.
- Solid communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
- Leadership experience, ideally with a small team. If you bring industrial laundry experience or similar FMCG knowledge, along with PLC fault-finding skills, you’ll have a distinct advantage. A willingness to obtain necessary high-risk licenses will also be beneficial. Competitive Salary & Benefits We offer a competitive salary of $45 per hour + super with a standard 38-hour week.
