THE OPPORTUNITY This is a hands-on training role that blends classroom delivery with practical, on-road and off-road instruction. No two days are the same — one morning you could be running a corporate defensive driving day for a fleet team; by the afternoon you're getting a group through vehicle recovery on rough terrain. The role covers a range of programs, with scope expanding as your certifications and experience grow within the team: Defensive driving: Hazard perception, emergency response, vehicle dynamics, road rules, vehicle technology Advanced 4WD: Off-road driving technique (varying terrain), Vehicle Technology, recovery, terrain judgment Trailer towing: Load management, coupling, reversing, road handling ATV and Side by Side training: Where applicable, based on experience and approvals DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Deliver engaging, high-quality training across classroom and practical sessions
• Assess learner competency and complete accurate RTO documentation (online)
• Conduct pre-training vehicle checks and keep training vehicles in safe, ready condition
• Set up and pack down training sites efficiently
• Represent Motor School professionally with corporate, government, and individual clients
• Travel nationally for client engagements as required ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS / HIGHLY REGARDED Full open driver's licence TAE (Certificate IV in Training & Assessment) Strong, clean driving history RTO training delivery experience Solid off-road and 4WD experience Certifications in 4WD, vehicle recovery, or towing Explicit Criminal and Traffic History checks Heavy vehicle licence Confident communicator with groups Military or emergency services background Physical capacity for outdoor practical work WHAT WE OFFER 30+ years of stability Established, family-owned business with a loyal client base across Australia.
