About the role Provide advanced clinical nursing care within a Nurse Practitioner scope in acute mental health, delivering comprehensive assessment, treatment planning, and intervention for consumers within the Mental Health Hospital in the Home (MH-HitH) service. Work autonomously and collaboratively to support innovative, nurse-led models of care that enhance patient outcomes and support care delivery in the community. About you Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Deliver advanced clinical assessment, diagnosis, and management for consumers with complex mental health needs within a Nurse Practitioner scope
- Work autonomously while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to provide coordinated, patient-centred care
- Provide specialist interventions, including prescribing, referrals, and diagnostic decision-making
- Lead and support evidence-based practice, research, and service improvement initiatives
