**The role**

Key responsibilities:

- Recruit, train, develop and mentor F&B; Team Members
- Control and positively influence ‘Cost of Sales’
- Operate within department budget
- Collaborate with Resort Manager & Group Food & Beverage Manager to create strategic plans to develop department
- Design food and beverage menus in collaboration with Group Food & Beverage Manager, Chef/Lead Short Order Cook and Operations Manager.
- Maintain and develop positive relationships with suppliers
- Comply with Liquor Licensing, Food Safety Plan and OHS requirement

**About you**
- Experience in a Cafe and or previous customer service experience.
- Outstanding guest relations and communications skills and the ability to relate to and host resort guests from a wide range of nationalities and backgrounds
- Experience in a management/leadership role
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Tourism/Hospitality Management or equivalent are an advantage (desirable)
- Current Responsible service of Alcohol Certificate (desirable)
