Location – Whitsunday Coast Airport

4 On / 4 Off Roster (Day Shift 7am – 4pm)

Starting wage $70,382 per annum

Must be available to work weekends and Public Holidays

The Whitsunday Regional Council is situated at the heart of the Great Barrier Reef. Your opportunity:

Join the team at Whitsunday Coast Airport as a Cleaner and help deliver a clean, secure and welcoming setting for passengers and staff. This role undertakes terminal and facilities cleaning in line with site schedules and hygiene requirements, and also supports “front of house” customer service activities such as passenger movement and parking assistance.

This position supports the Airport’s operational coverage requirements, with the intent to strengthen onsite capacity and reduce reliance on contract cleaning by improving year-round coverage.

Your skills and experience:

Essential

C Class Driver’s Licence.

Commercial cleaning experience

Level of fitness to complete physical requirements of role.

Ability to acquire Aviation Security Identification Card.
