Abrasive Blaster/industrial Painter Bowen

We are currently seeking experienced Abrasive Blasters / Industrial Painters to join our team working across various mining sites. This role involves surface preparation, protective coatings application, and maintenance work in a high-compliance environment.

Key Responsibilities Abrasive blasting to required standards Application of industrial coatings (brush, roll, spray) Surface preparation including cleaning, masking, and inspection Working safely in accordance with site procedures and permits Completing maintenance and shutdown work as required Ensuring quality control and adherence to specifications

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have: Proven mining experience (essential) Experience in abrasive blasting and industrial painting Solid understanding of coating systems and specifications Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening High regard for safety and compliance

Tickets & Licences (Highly Regarded / Required) Train the painter
- Blast & Paint Certification or MEM08012 Prepare surfaces by abrasive blasting Working at Heights Confined Space Standard 11 (or relevant mining induction) Current Coal Board Medical Current manual drivers licence C class, HR preferred. EWP, Forklift (advantageous) Trade qualification (desirable but not essential)
