AAMG is currently seeking experienced Diesel Fitters to join our growing on-site maintenance teams, supporting major mining operations across Queensland. About the Role You will be responsible for preventative maintenance, breakdown repairs, and fault diagnosis across a fleet of surface mobile mining equipment, including CAT, Komatsu, Liebherr, Hitachi, and ancillary gear. Key Responsibilities
- Fault finding and diagnostics on mobile plant equipment
- Routine servicing and maintenance (workshop & field)
- Breakdown repairs and component rebuilds
- Participation in toolbox talks and safety meetings
- Contribute to hazard identification, risk assessments, and JSAs About You
- Australian recognised trade qualification (Diesel Fitting or equivalent)
- Current Drivers Licence
- Valid Standard 11 & Coal Board Medical
- Proven experience on CAT, Komatsu, Liebherr or similar mining equipment
- Additional RII tickets (advantageous)
- Willingness to work across multiple QLD sites
