As part of Thiess’s team, you’ll play a crucial role. Responsibilities
- Operating heavy machinery safely and efficiently to maximise productivity.
- Adhering to Thiess safety standards and operational procedures. Benefits
- Chance to earn up to $130, plus super $10,000 Retention Payment (paid in 52 weekly payments) Market payments up to $15,000 to be applied role dependant.
- Attendance allowance – $250 per fortnight.
- BIBO from Townsville.
- Camp accommodation close to mine site – 10 minutes down the road.
- Even‑time roster of 7/7 rotating days/nights – 12hr shifts.

- Experience operating at least one production mining equipment on a mine site (Rear Dump Truck, Dozer, Grader or Excavator).
- Verified machinery skills list (Signed Training Transcripts).
- A proactive attitude with the desire to work reliably as part of a team.
- Current Standard 11 and current drivers licence.
- A commitment to a positive safety culture.
