JET SKI TOUR GUIDE – Hamilton Island / Marina Operations Hamilton Island is seeking an energetic and experienced Jet Ski Tour Guide to join our Marina team. Spend your days exploring the breathtaking Whitsunday waterways while delivering unforgettable guest experiences in one of the world’s most spectacular marine environments. - Enjoy staff perks including accommodation and dining discounts Your Role As a Jet Ski Tour Guide, you’ll safely lead guided jet ski experiences for guests of all skill levels while delivering exceptional customer service. You’ll also assist with dinghy hire operations and provide expert advice on local waterways and marine safety. Where you’ll make an impact
- Conduct guided jet ski tours through World Heritage-listed waters
- Provide instructional safety briefings and riding demonstrations
- Check weather and water conditions before tours and hires
- Assist guests with dinghy hire and boating guidance
- Maintain jet skis, equipment, and supplies in secure working order
- Deliver exceptional customer service to guests and visitors
- Complete all required operational paperwork and reporting
- Respond to guest enquiries and concerns professionally and efficiently What we’re looking for You are an outgoing and safety-conscious marine professional who thrives outdoors. You love being on the water, enjoy engaging with people, and have the confidence to lead guests through unforgettable experiences. To be successful, you will need:
- Coxswain Grade 3 or higher (Essential)
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificates (Essential)
- PWC Licence (Essential)
- QLD Driver Licence (Essential)
- Experience operating jet skis and instructing others safely
- Previous tour guide or marine tourism experience
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Passion for boating, fishing, and marine environments
